By working with us you are entering a contract and agreeing to the below terms and conditions.
All parts delivered to us must be in reasonably clean condition. This means no heavy dirt, mud or oily build up or residue present. If you deliver the items heavily soiled, you will be charged for the time and labour required to clean the items. The petrol tanks must be emptied of all fuel and left to air out for at least 7 days before delivery, so any petrol fumes can exit the petrol tank.
Please do not use any cleaning products containing silicone as this can cause issues during the painting process.
Payment for services is due in full prior to collection or delivery. No goods will be released until full payment has been made.
After receiving notification of completion, the customer has 7 days to collect their goods ( unless otherwise agreed). Beyond these 7 days, a storage fee of £15/day will apply and will be payable prior to collection.
We work on a calendar booking system, we agree a start and finish date, and a deposit of £50 is payable to secure a slot in the diary. This is to ensure that we have sufficient capacity to take on the work and have all the supplies ready to complete the required work. This £50 will go towards the final payment upon job completion. The start date can be amended, provided a minimum of 7 days notice has been given to us. If paint was already purchased for the project and you decide to cancel, this deposit will also be non-refundable to partially cover the cost of the materials.
When painting motorcycle petrol tanks even though the utmost care is taken to ensure that no debris gets inside the petrol tank, this cannot be guaranteed. We recommend to use an in line filter for at least the first 500 miles after re-assembling the bike to avoid any debris entering the engine and causing damage, If you ignore this advise, you do so at your own risk and there will be no liability on our (Kat's Kustomz Ltd) behalf in case of an issue.
If you choose to apply any paint protective film over the paint, once you want to remove it, ensure you heat up the film to reactivate the adhesive glue on the film before removing. This will soften the glue and allow the film to be removed easily. If you try and remove the film without reactivating and softening the glue, you risk damaging the paint work underneath. There will be no liability accepted on our behalf if you incorrectly and forcibly remove the film and damage the paint work.
